We have developed a proprietary thin film deposition technology for solar photovoltaic, or PV, products that we believe will allow us to achieve a total module manufacturing cost per watt of less than $1.00, a cost competitive with the lowest in the solar PV industry. We are utilizing our proprietary single-stage sputtering deposition process to apply high-efficiency copper indium gallium selenide, or CIGS, semiconductor material over large area substrates in a continuous fashion. Through our proprietary deposition process, we have achieved greater than 14% cell efficiencies over large areas on CIGS PV devices. We are developing a commercial scale proprietary deposition tool and intend to integrate this tool with commercially available thin film manufacturing equipment, which will provide us with a critically differentiated manufacturing process.
