DCT Industrial Trust Inc. is a leading industrial real estate company that owns,
operates and develops high-quality bulk distribution and light industrial
properties in high-volume distribution markets in the U.S. and Mexico. The
Company owns or manages more than 74 million square feet of assets leased to
approximately 850 corporate customers, including 11 million square feet managed
on behalf of three institutional joint venture partners. We were formed as a
Maryland corporation in April 2002 and have elected to be treated as a real
estate investment trust (“REIT”) for United States (“U.S.”) federal income tax
