We are an international pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and
markets a broad range of pharmaceutical products. Historically, our marketing
and promotion efforts focused on our Promoted Products, which consisted of
products marketed globally, regionally, or locally with annual sales in excess
of $5,000,000. Our products are currently sold in more than 100 markets around
the world.
Although historically we have focused most of our efforts on neurology,
dermatology, and infectious disease, our prescription pharmaceutical products
also treat, among other things, neuromuscular disorders, cancer, cardiovascular
disease, diabetes and psychiatric disorders. Our products are sold through three
pharmaceutical segments comprising: North America, International (Latin America,
Asia, and Australasia) and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).
