FIS has processing and technology relationships with 35 of the top 50 global banks, including nine of the top 10. Our business operations and organizational structure result from the February 1, 2006, business combination of FIS and Certegy (the “Certegy Merger”), pursuant to which FIS was merged into a wholly-owned subsidiary of Certegy. Immediately after the Certegy Merger, the stockholders of FIS, including its then-majority stockholder Old FNF, owned approximately 67.4% of our outstanding common stock.
