We are a Houston, Texas-based independent natural gas and oil company engaged in
the exploration, development and production of natural gas and oil in the United
States and Australia. Our domestic drilling activities are focused on exploiting
our multi-year inventory of drilling locations in the deep Bossier sands and
Knowles Limestone plays in the Hilltop area of East Texas and continuing
exploitation of our coal bed methane, or “CBM”, assets in the Powder River Basin
of Wyoming and Montana. Our operations in Australia are focused on the
development of over 7.0 million gross (2.9 million net) acres of CBM rights in
New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. We believe that our dual focus enables
us to generate high initial production and long-lived producing wells with
strong cash flow dynamics from our East Texas activities, while also providing
us with significant reserve upside through the development of our Australian
resource plays.
