Odyssey Marine Exploration, Inc., a Nevada corporation formed on March 5, 1986,
is engaged in archaeologically-sensitive exploration and recovery of shipwrecks
throughout the world. We employ advanced state-of-the-art technology, including
side scan sonar, remotely operated vehicles, or ROVs, and other advanced
technology, that enables us to locate and recover shipwrecks at depths that were
previously unreachable in an economically feasible manner. Odyssey continues to
build on a foundation of shipwreck research, development of political
relationships and advancement of techniques for deep-ocean search and recovery.
Our vision is to maintain and strengthen our position as the world leader in
shipwreck exploration, archeological excavation and marketing of shipwreck
artifacts and related merchandise.
