NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS
Abbott has four reportable revenue segments: Pharmaceutical Products,
Nutritional Products, Diagnostic Products, and Vascular Products. Abbott also
has a 50 percent owned joint venture, TAP Pharmaceutical Products Inc.
