Our predecessor and current principal operating subsidiary, Tianwei Yingli, was
established as a PRC limited liability company in August 1998. The initial
holders of equity interests in Tianwei Yingli included Baoding Yingli Group Co.,
Ltd., or Yingli Group, and Baoding Gaoxin District Development Co., Ltd., a PRC
company engaged in project investment and development in the national high-tech
zone in the Baoding area which is wholly owned by the Management Committee of
Baoding Gaoxin District, a local government agency. Mr. Liansheng Miao is the
founder of Yingli Group and currently holds 100% equity interest in Yingli
Group.
