We have grown our business through increased premium volume, expansion of product offerings and geographic reach, and acquisition of other companies. On December 14, 2007, we entered into a stock purchase agreement with Aon Corporation, pursuant to which we have agreed to purchase all the outstanding shares of capital stock of Combined Insurance Company of America (Combined) and fourteen Combined subsidiaries. The all cash purchase price is $2.4 billion, subject to certain post-closing adjustments.
