NACCO Industries, Inc. (“NACCO” or the “Company”) is a holding company with
three principal businesses: lift trucks, housewares and mining.
(a) NACCO Materials Handling Group. NACCO Materials Handling Group consists of
the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, NMHG Holding Co. (“NMHG”). NMHG designs,
engineers, manufactures, sells, services and leases a comprehensive line of lift
trucks and aftermarket parts marketed globally under the Hyster® and Yale® brand
names. NMHG manages its operations as two reportable segments: wholesale
manufacturing (“NMHG Wholesale”) and retail distribution (“NMHG Retail”).
(b) NACCO Housewares Group. NACCO Housewares Group (“Housewares”) consists of
the Company’s wholly owned subsidiaries: Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. (formerly
known as Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex, Inc.
